Plyndi started as a set of destination guides. The app is the next step: a trip planner that holds the itinerary, the budget and the packing list in one place — and keeps the numbers straight when you’re paying in three currencies in one week.
It’s being built in the open by one person. It is not on the App Store yet — the section below is an honest account of what’s finished and what isn’t.
What Plyndi does
One app instead of a notes file, a spreadsheet and three booking confirmations in your inbox.
Trip itineraries
Day-by-day plans with transit legs between stops, so a plan you made on the sofa still works when you’re standing at a station.
Multi-currency budget
Log an expense in the currency you actually paid in. Plyndi converts on entry and keeps the trip total honest instead of summing yen and baht together.
Packing & checklists
Packing lists tied to the trip, with items you can push to a shopping list before you leave.
Quick Add
Type or dictate one sentence — “dinner 480 baht in Bangkok” — and it fills in the expense, task or packing item for you.
AI trip drafting
Describe the trip you want and get a first-draft itinerary to edit. A starting point you rearrange, not a plan you’re stuck with.
Built for Asia travel
Multiple languages, multiple currencies, and guides written from Taipei rather than translated from a US template.
